At the beginning of the East Coast Music Awards Opening Ceremony in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, the popular band The Trews will perform their song Highway of Heroes

The ceremony is a tribute to Veterans, currently serving and fallen soldiers. The backdrop will be footage from the actual Highway of Heroes as fallen soldiers make their final trip home, and the ceremony will be streamed live on http://ecma.bellaliant.net.

The PEI Regimental band will be joining The Trews on stage for a portion of their song.
