Scientific presentation of neuropsychiatric adverse events associated with the anti-malaria drug mefloquine

Once again I offer the presentation Dr. Remington Nevin made in Florida at the Special Operations Medical Association late in 2011. Here he presents his research results on the epidemiology and pathophysiology of mefloquine that causes extensive neural damage. To name a few of the devastating side effects in addition to the neuropsychiatric breakdown, the following are also affected: cardiac (heart), peripheral nervous system, thyroid, auto immune system, dermatology plus mitochondria and cognition.
